FPSC has invited eligible candidates to apply for the CSS MPT from 12 to 26 August 2024. The CSS MPT will be conducted on 6 October 2024, and it is mandatory to pass to sit in the CSS 2025 written examination, which will commence from 15 February 2025.

CSS EXAM SYSTEM:
The CSS exam has 3 stages:
(1) CSS MPT
(2) CSS Written Exam
Note: Only CSS MPT Qualifiers are eligible to take the CSS Written Exam.
(3) CSS interview
Note: Only CSS Written Exam Qualifiers are eligible for CSS Interview.
CSS MPT for CSS 2025 will be held on 6th October 2024 and CSS 2025 exams will be held on 1st October 2024. February 2025.

CSS 2025 MCQ Based Preliminary Test (MPT)
Mandatory qualifying test to appear in Main Written CSS CE 2025.
Attendance at MPT will not count as an opportunity.
The answer key will be uploaded on the FPSC website on the same day after the end of the test.
Candidates will be allowed to take carbon copy of answer sheet.
MPT will be a knowledge based test.
The MPT score will be valid only for CSS CE of the same year and will not count towards the aggregate marks for determining the final merit position.
The cut-off date for determining eligibility based on age, qualification, domicile etc. is 31.12.2024.
MPT fee will be Rs.250 (non-refundable).
CSS MPT Pattern
- Number of Questions: 200 MCQs
- Time Allowed: 200 minutes
- Test Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
- Negative Marking: No
- Passing Marks: 33% (At least 66 correct answers out of 200 MCQs)
CSS 2025 Eligibility
All graduates with at least second division in Bachelor’s degree and aged 21 to 30 years as on 31 December 2024 are eligible to apply for the CSS-2025 examination.
Age relaxation of two years is admissible for categories specified in CSSCE Rules 2019.
